How It Works
This calculator uses the U.S. Navy body fat estimation method, which calculates body fat percentage from circumference measurements. For men, it uses waist and neck measurements; for women, it adds hip circumference.
For the most accurate results, measure with a flexible tape measure directly on skin. Measure your neck at its narrowest point below the larynx, your waist at navel level, and your hips at the widest point.
This calculator provides estimates only. The U.S. Navy method is a screening tool — for precise body composition analysis, consider DEXA scans or hydrostatic weighing. Consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
